Janus Parallelism -
A literary device used in poetic and teaching in which a middle stich of poetry contains a pun,
which in one of its meanings parallels the line that precedes it and in another, parallels the line that follows.

Example from Song of Solomon 2:12:

Blossoms appear on the earth

The time of
הַ זָּמִ יר
e·zmir
(Meaning either pruning or singing)
has arrived
_______________
The voice of the turtledove is heard in the land

This device is used by Jesus in The confession of Peter in Matthew 16:18 :

You are Πέτρος (Peter: Firstborn)

and upon this
πέτρᾳ
petra
(Meaning First born or rock)
